Where From/Born: Nuneaton, England
Education: Sports and Business Studies, Diploma in Physical Education Studies.
How long with SA United: Founder
Playing Career: Prior to coming to the USA, Jay played for his home town club Barwell Athletic. During his time at the club he was selected to play for the Leicestershire county team and the league representative team. Jay was also invited to attend Leicester City and Coventry City and enjoyed a brief spell playing for the youth development program with Coventry.
Position: Forward, Right/Center Midfield
Team Support: Coventry City (English Championship)
Coaching Career: Started his career as a summer camp trainer working on camps across America. Jay now works as a team trainer and has lead many teams to league titles, cup finals and state championships. Jay is also the head coach for Saint Mary's Hall middle school and in his five years training them he has lead them to four straight championship titles and a semi final.
Qualifications: UEFA B level 2 license, FA Coaching Certificate, Sports Leaders Certificate, US Coaching Modules, First aid certified. Child protection award.
Relevant info: Jay was the first employee and co founder of World Wide Soccer. First arriving on U.S. soil in 1999, Jay had an immediate love for the country. The following year Jay worked in San Antonio and enjoyed his time there so much that he worked hard to make it his home. Jay is now married to his wife Christina.
